Brand profile

Strive Food is a small Tasmanian company. An independent hiking-gear review site reports it was founded by Todd, an Outdoor Education instructor, and Melanie, a qualified nutritionist, based in Hobart, Tasmania - the brand's own site carries no dedicated “our story” page to confirm this directly. It makes dehydrated, not freeze-dried, meals, cooked in a pot to rehydrate.
At least one meal shows real regional sourcing on the brand's own product page: the Mexican Chilli Beef ingredient list names Tasmanian beef second, right after rice and ahead of corn, onion, and the vegetables.
